About the role

We are looking for a strong 3D artist to join our games studio working remotely on a freelance/contract basis.

Ideally you’ll be able to show a portfolio with a broad variety of art styles. At the moment we’re looking for someone who can create objects and environments, but experience of character design would be an advantage.

Key skills and experience

  • Experience of creating and animating high-quality 3D game assets in Maya
  • Ideally (but not required) able to create characters with efficient texturing and topology ready for rigging and animating
  • Ability to use Adobe software packages

Role requirements

  • You’ll be able to integrate yourself into a distributed team, rapidly building strong relationships and communicating effectively
  • You’ll quickly understand the project and client requirements, taking an active part in ideation, design discussions and deliverables

Tip: take a look at our work and point us to examples of similar work you’ve produced. We do a lot of educational and kid’s games, so that style is ideal.
