RTS Award Nomination

28th Oct 2010

Two of fish in a bottle’s games have been nominated for a 2010 Royal Television Society Award.

Best On Screen Game:

- Keepy Uppy (for BBC Blue Peter)

- Battle of Britain 303 Squadron (for Channel 4)

Keepy Uppy uses innovative webcam technology that allows players to interact with the game using their body, rather than the traditional controller, keyboard or mouse. It’s one of the most popular games commissioned by the BBC and was created around the time of the 2010 World Cup.

Battle of Britain 303 Squadron tells the little known story of 303 Squadron through a high quality, action packed web game. Based on factual research the game takes entries from the squadrons’ diaries to move players through the full story of the squadron’s formation, their training, victories and defeats leading to their ultimate betrayal by the Allies.

The game features 5 campaign missions, multiplayer modes, unlockable aircraft and social network integration with Facebook.

The Royal Television Society Awards ceremony will be held on the 4th of November 2010.
