Japan Season is billed as ‘the search for meaning in an extraordinary nation’ and features original documentary films including ‘In Search of Wabi Sabi’ with Marcel Theroux.
The website's content includes a word of the day feature where visitors to the site can watch a short film exploring the history and meaning of a significant Japanese word.
The BBC selected fish in a bottle after their recent successes supporting premier TV shows including The Real Hustle and The Apprentice.
